On Sunday, April 19th, Brother Marcelino Ruiz represented Council 14679 at Under The Bridge Ministries in Fort Worth, delivering a fish fry to dozens of men and women experiencing homelessness — a project our brothers had been eager to make happen.
The event brought together several organizations: Lifegate Church Burleson sponsored the day’s meal, a corporate café donated food that would otherwise have been discarded, and The Angel Bear Project provided stuffed animals for children. The council’s fish fry was a highlight of the afternoon, warmly received by those in attendance.
Council 14679 is proud to be a sponsor of Under The Bridge Ministries and looks forward to continued partnership with this vital Fort Worth outreach.
